On May 22, 2003, Heidi and Antonio had no idea that their lives would change forever. Heidi was in Memphis visiting her mother and aunt for the summer before she was to go off to graduate school. Antonio was working as a cable and internet installation technician for Time Warner Cable. As a favor to Heidi, her mother and aunt made arrangements for internet services to be installed at their home during her stay. Antonio was the technician sent to complete the job. The rest, as they say, is history.
A little more than a year after they met, Heidi and Antonio gave birth to their first born child, their son Antonio Aaron Patrick Lewis, Jr., better known as "AJ." Three years after they met, they gave birth to their second born child, their daughter Chase Renee' Lewis. In addition to the birth of their only two children, Heidi and Antonio have made significant strides in their professional lives.
In 2006, Antonio graduated from the Ohio State College of Barber Styling. He is now a self-employed barber at the J. Clark Barbershop in Lafayette, IN. Heidi graduated with a Master of Arts degree in English Literature from Ohio University in 2005. She is now a Ph.D. student in American Studies at Purdue University in Lafayette.
Throughout the course of their union, they have loved each other deeply and faithfully, encouraging each other to continue to be the best person they can be. It made perfect sense to them that on their sixth anniversary, May 22, 2009, they should make their union official. On that date, they will wed at the Aventura Resort & Spa in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
