Steve and I have been dating for 12 years we have 3 daughters and 1 son. Next year will be the last year we have kids at home. We live in Oklahoma and both were raised in the same town and high school. We both have been married before and look forward to a great life together. We decided to get married over the summer and I chose the date of December 24th 2008, because I lost my grandparent in January 2008 and since I was born that was their most special day and mine. My grandma would decorate every room and space through out the house, we had so many gifts under the tree they would spill out all over the living room. And grandma would make a great Christmas dinner. It was the best of times. So in memory of them I will be getting married on their day, the day they always made special for me and our whole family.

We will be getting married at a ranch in Broken Arrow all decked out for Christmas. It will be a casual and formal event as I've chosen to let everyone have the option of wearing what they want, the most important thing is that they enjoy themselves. We will get married at 5pm in front of a large fire in the fireplace with my cousin's husband who will marry us. Our colors are red, cream and silver. My something blue is a wide blue ribbon tacked on under my dress with a special something my grandparents have given me, I also will be wearing my grandmother's wedding band. I know they will be looking down on us and celebrating with us, I know they are proud.

Our reception will also be at the ranch with a 3 tier cake made from Ludgers, Bavarrian cream cheescake center with butter cream frosting. The grooms cake will be the same but in choclate moose center. We will also be serving punch and mints,nuts. We will also have music and dancing.

After our wedding we will be going to the Doubletree Hotel and on Christmas day flying to New Orleans. Staying there two nights at the New Orleans Sheraton, then going aboard the Carnival Cruise Destiny for a 5 night cruise to Progresso and Cozmel. I can't wait.

We appreciate all of our guests celebrating this special event with us. And will rent the ranch out every Dec 24th from now on to hold a special day to celebrate our family.
