Duane and Tamara met on November 19, 2004. They were introduced by a mutal friend of whom they both work with. Duane states that when he first saw Tamara it was like a Spike Lee movie; where light appears and the person is moving in sinck with the light. He recalls what she was wearing (a black dress) and how radiant she looked. He says at that moment, she was destined to be his wife. Tamara shares that she found Duane hansome, and quite manerable but never imagined that thier friendship would grow into such a wonderful gift from God (he was too good to be true, I had to ask him that infamous question. hahahah). They both prioritize family, education and the importance of putting God first. Duane and Tamara plan to reside in Charlotte, NC and add to their pre-existing families.
Springhill Suites by Marriot (8700 Research Drive, Charlotte, NC 28262) will host the wedding of Duane and Tamara. They will marry at University Park Baptist Church (6029 Beatties Ford Road, Charlotte, NC). They ask that guests are prompt and prepared to share in the blessed event. The ceremony will start at 1pm, guests are asked to arrive no later than 12:45pm. Directions can be found on yahoo.com. Immediately following the ceremony, guest are asked to join the couple and their family at Zion Renissance Complex (3165 Zion's Renissance Lane Charlotte, NC 28269). Hors D'oeuvres will be served at 2:15pm. Celebrate, dine and enjoy the celebration and uniting of Duane and Tamara. Wear comfortable shoes as dancing will be apart of the festivites (taking you back to the lates 60's with Motown and bringing it up to today's most memorable hits!)

We would like to thank each of you who sowed seeds of wisdom, knowledge and guidance into our relationship as we were tried many times. We are two independent, strong and ambitious children of God who have perservered many storms. We love each other dearly and belive that God has placed each other together to be the example of what he intended marriage to resemble. We know that our walk in marriage will be tempted, but we committ to communicate and seek the guidance of God and those who serve as our covenant and spiritual shepards. We want to live pleasing in God's sight and work together diligently to please him. We Thank our parents who raised, nurtured and disciplined us to be God fearing and loving individuals. Also, thank our children Dyana and Madysen for being willing to share.
