Our Story

How We Met:
Tommy and I were college housemates for an entire year before we started dating. He was the weirdo upstairs and I was the "gurl" who was always hanging out in his apartment. THen one day in August of 2003, Tommy asked me if he could stay at my apartment after a concert. I drove there after work and the next thing you know, we were dating. Many of our friends didn't believe us for months.

How We Got Engaged:
Tommy asked me to join him on a class field trip the Franklin Institute. So, I took a sick day from work and went with him and his students to the institute. We decided to go through the large human heart to start off the trip. Tommy's hands start to shake and he seemed fidgity, but I just thought he was getting antsy because of the heart thumping noise coming from the inside of the heart. When we exited the heart, his students were lined up with signs: "Kelly Baldwin will you marry me?" I began to panic and start crying. One of his students captured it on the camera, so we have a short video of Tommy getting down on his knee and asking me to spend the rest of our lives together!

Our Wedding

Our wedding will take place on Friday, July 17, 2009 at 5:30 PM at the Stroudsmoor Country Inn in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Immediately following the outside ceremony, will be the reception in the Ridgecrest Room. Wait until you see the view of the mountain-side!

Travel Arrangements

All guests are welcome to stay at the Pocono Budget Inn & Suites, which is located about 5 miles from the wedding site. A trolley will be provided for guests who are staying at the hotel (to and from the wedding).

Guests are also able to stay at the Stroudsmoor Country Inn.
