Only a few know the inside scoop about how Katy and Brian began...which turned into...Katy and Brian in love, engaged, and about to be hitched...

In December 2005 Dale and Katy were coordinating the condominium remodel that is now home to Katy and Brian. Little did the Bruns family know that the electrician hired by the General Contractor would eventually be part of the family... Brian spent long hours working in 16C at Brooks Tower getting the wiring, cabling, and lighting just right -all the while becoming friends with Katy and her roommate Amanda.

After several invites to happy hour, pizza, and even a family meal, and an equal number of declines by Brian to attend any such event, Katy decided trying to be friends with Brian was futile. However, 6 months after the condo remodel was finished...Brian decided it was time to call Katy and see if the invite for a dinner still stood.

Yes! The dinner invitation was still good! And so, a date to Whole Foods set Katy and Brian's relationship in motion.

Of course there are many quarks to the story; Brian wouldn't be pleased if the part about Katy eating messy BBQ during their first date was left out...he knew she was the one when eating pulled pork was more important than impressing a first date.

Many Whole Foods dates later, Brian and Katy are extremely excited about beginning their marriage and sharing their special day with you!
