Luis and I became re-acquainted about five years ago during a family camping trip to Yosemite, California. We quickly became good friends and remained as such, through good times and bad, until August of 2004. Although we both knew that we had feelings for each other, it never seemed to be the right time and our friendship was very important to both of us. Finally, we made the decision to take the risk and begin dating. That was the best decision we have ever made! Being good friends, and our firm religious beliefs, has turned out to be an excellent foundation for our relationship and has contributed to this being the most memorable time of our lives so far. We became engaged in October 2005 when Luis planned a family trip to Cambria and surprised me with the proposal.

Our wedding ceremony will take place at the Highland Park Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. The ceremony is tentatively set to begin at 1PM (waiting for confirmation on the availability). Aside from our respective families being a part of the wedding party, also included will be Eduardo Castillo, Rene Soriano, Patricia Betancourt, Ashley Ramirez, Joel and Maria Marquez. Maria is the Maid of Honor.

Our reception will take place at Monterey Hills Steakhouse. The cocktail hour will begin at 5PM and dinner will be served at 6:30PM. Dancing will begin at 7:30PM until 11.

We have made arrangements to travel to Saint Lucia for the first portion of our honeymoon and then to Cambria, CA as the last portion of our trip.

We would like to thank all of you for your wonderful friendship. All of you, in your own special way, have contributed to our happiness. Although we would like to invite everyone that we know and love, we simply cannot. Nonetheless, we truly appreciate your kindness. Luis and I look forward to building our lives together, knowing that we can count on great people such as yourselves.
