Our Story
WOW! What a whirlwind year 2008 had been! Were do we start?
It was a cold, windy night in December 2007 when Charles decided to call Lori and see if she would like to go out to lunch. Lori kept thinking (… after years of being a single woman…) “Why is he calling me? Why isn’t he calling his dad?” All the time Lori was thinking that Charles was interested in info on the Annual Easter Egg Hunt. When Lori saw Charles show up to the date on his motorcycle in the snow, she should have dived into the restroom to hide. Needless to say, they had lunch together that day and the rest is history!
In October, Charles and Lori took a trip to San Francisco for a weekend of touring the wharf, dining outside and going to a Richard Cheese concert (you’ll have to Google that on your own). Charles asked Lori to marry him.
Since it’s the second marriage for both they decided to do things right and went pawnshop hopping for a ring and planning for the ultimate wedding ceremony.

A DRIVE THRU ELVIS WEDDING! WHAT ARE THEY THINKING?
Charles and Lori headed down to Las Vegas at Easter for a Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekender. They were going to tell you a little about what happened in Vegas… but as you all know... what happens in Vegas… stays in Vegas!! The wedding will be held at the LITTLE WHITE CHAPEL on Saturday, October 17, 2009, at 2:00pm. Charles and Lori are currently working on their wedding music arrangements to be sung by Elvis himself. They’re planning on having the pink Cadillac pick them up at the hotel and take them to the chapel for the ceremony. Elvis will not be driving the pink Caddy due to losing his license a few years ago. Mark your calendar… make your reservations to join them in the ceremony and delectable dining at one of Vegas’ finest buffets. Nothing like doing it Nevada style!

Travel Arrangements
The future bride and groom have reserved a 5 day Carnival Cruise to Baja Mexico leaving LA on 10/19/09. You too can join in the fun! There is a GREAT group rate available for the cruise to save some pesos. Please keep in mind that this is their honeymoon. No banging of pans in the hallways or doorbell ditching permitted. However, buying adult beverages is allowed.
