Our Story

RITA'S THOUGHTS ABOUT DON:
I don't believe in love at "first sight", but the first time I ever saw Don, I was instantly attracted to him. I thought he was so cute and sweet. I thought to myself, I want to know more about him. The better I got to know him, the more I wanted to be part of his life. Don is truly my dream come true!

DON'S THOUGHTS ABOUT RITA:
When I met Rita I knew there was something very special about her, I thought about her all of the time and made excuses to see her and talk to her. It wasn't long before I knew she felt the same way. Rita is such a beautiful and caring person, I am a very lucky.


OUR PROPOSAL:
Don proposed to me Sunday, May 3rd, during a hike in the Indian Canyons. We had plans to go with several friends. However, at the last minute everyone bailed out, except Don's good friend Lee. Lee had a front row seat to wedding proposal and didn't know it. Don and I both love hiking and since he always made excuses to talk to me about that, he thought it was only appropriate that he proposed to me while hiking. After all that's what brought us together! It was romantic and totally unexpected!

Our Wedding

Our wedding will be at The Flamingo, in Las Vegas on October 24th 2009. The wedding will be at the Garden Chapel on the west lawn at 2:00 pm. The attire should be casual, after all it is Las Vegas and the most important thing is that our family and friends can be there to celebrate.

Our Reception

Reception will immediately follow the ceremony in the Mesquite Banquet Room A two hour hosted bar, hordouvres, music and lots of fun to share with friends and family! We hope everyone can attend and celebrate the start of our lives together.
