Amanda Chavis & Charles Russ

Our Story

Let's see, where do we start. We met through Ryan (Amanda's brother) in High School(Amanda (15) and Charlie (17)). Charlie asked me out at school during halftime of a basketball game I was cheering at. He drove up in his 89' Honda Civic Hatchback with the phrase "Amanda, will you go out with me?" written alongside his windows. Of course I said yes! From there on, we have been inseperable spending every moment, holiday and free time with each other. We are very outgoing and love trying new things and getting out there to enjoy life while we have it. Of course, we have had life's curveballs thrown our way but have managed to get through it all. God sends each and every one of us with a mission and our missions have crossed paths and brought us together. We have already began a new life together buy purchasing our very first home and making it our own. We have our adorable dog named Lucy and cat named Lola. They have began preparing us on what it is like to have kids. Responsibility is key! By taking this step we have started teaching ourselves about life together, bills, compromise, importance of communication and emphasis on not forgetting the small things in life that we may take for granted. We now have made it our personal mission to start life as husband and wife and begin a new family of our own.

Our Wedding

Our wedding is on November 28, 2009 at 4:30 PM at the A La Carte Event Pavillion.

Our Reception

Reception is to follow the ceremony also at the A La Carte Event pavillion with food, drinks, dancing and laughter.

Travel Arrangements

If you think you would like to stay close by after the reception, we have reserved a block of rooms at the Town Place Suites. It is located off Spruce near the International Mall and the airport. The nightly rate is $63.00 and rooms are reserved under the Chavis/Russ wedding.
