Wendy Butler & David Robinson
Our Story
Dave and I have been friends for years. About nine years ago, I came down to visit my sister Simone and her husband Tim from Baltimore. Dave was sitting in her kitchen. He was Tim's newest employee, so I saw him often.
We didn't really spend much time together until I moved to Williamsburg in 2004. We were friends at first but soon it became clear that we both had huge crushes on each other! We found we had a lot in common. We both are into the same music and movies and we both love to spend time outdoors and in the water. Dave loves the fact that I actually enjoy watching football on Sundays too even though I am a Cowboys fan!
Last summer Dave and I went to Colorado for a week's vacation. On top of a tall mountain, next to a stream, Dave asked me to marry him. It was just the two of us, surrounded by the most incredible scenery in every direction. It could not have been more perfect!
Now the big day is coming up and we couldn't be happier! We are especially excited about our Honeymoon in Belize. We hope it will be the first of many exotic vacations together!

Our wedding and reception will take place at the Greensprings West Clubhouse in Williamsburg Virginia on October 10th. It is located at 3200 Manor Gate Drive Wiliamsburg Va 23188. The ceremony will begin at 5:00 pm and the reception will take place immediately following the ceremony. We will have music, great Italian food, beer and a variety of wines.
