Our Story

Thank you for visiting our honeymoon registry! If you don't already know the story, we met on September 26th, 2006. We found ourselves sitting across from each other with mutual friends at a table (Jamie built the table!) at The Pour House, a restaurant in Short Pump. We were amazed by both how much we had in common and by the fact that, with all our mutual friends, we had never met before. We quickly fell in love and spent the next few years creating a home together, traveling all around, spending time with friends (they should have introduced us sooner!) and raising Katie. On July 26th, 2008 we boarded a plane for Orlando to spend a night at the Hard Rock Hotel before boarding a cruise through the Caribbean. What Hollie didn't know was that Jamie had, in his pocket, a ring to give her that night. Loose airport security allowed the ring to remain in his pocket until that night, in the butterfly garden on the hotel grounds, he proposed. After a weeklong celebration, we came home to our new life together as bride-to-be and groom-to-be.

Our Wedding

Our wedding will be held at the home of Chip and Peggy Coulson, Hollie's uncle and aunt, on October, 17th, 2009 at 4:00 in the afternoon. Their home is located at 2356 Brookwood Road, Bon Air, VA 23235. Immediately following the wedding ceremony, we'll enjoy an evening of delicious food and drinks under the tent amongst the beautiful fall landscape. The food is being prepared by the amazingly talented chef Anthony Gerhart, of "Beach House Bar and Grill" fame. We'll get out on the dance floor to the music of the ultra-talented comedian and DJ, Trent Davis. We can't wait to celebrate with you.

A Special Message From Us

We are so excited and thankful to have such wonderful friends and family to share this special day with us! We are also very excited to return to Mexico, a place we fell in love with on our engagement cruise. After our honeymoon, we plan to give Katie a little brother or sister right away, so this will be our last vacation for awhile!
