Our Story
David and I met back in 2003 at Emmanuel Church College Group in Burbank, CA. He thought I was cute, but I couldn't stand him because he wouldn't sit still during the lesson and he was distracting me. The more I was around him, the more I thought he was a rude, cocky jerk. Well, little did we know that God had a different plan for our lives. The more we hung out, the more I saw David for who he was and that all that other stuff was just a facade. Our feelings grew for each other and even though I didn't feel ready for a relationship, we decided to give it a shot. I have my mom to thank for this because she was the one who told me to "just go for it!" Our first kiss, like our relationship, was anything but ordinary (feel free to ask either of us about THAT story)! One of my friends told me David would treat me like a queen, and to this day, he has done just that. We had no idea back then our relationship would last this long, and there were moments when we really thought things were over. But we stuck it out and prevailed in the end because our love really does hold us together and I truly believe we have a love like no other.
Our Wedding
Our wedding will be at Rancho de Las Palmas in Moorpark, CA. The address is 3566 Sunset Valley Road 93021. The beautiful ceremony will start at 4pm followed by a delicious dinner and then be prepared to get down on the dance floor! This is not your traditional wedding by any means, so get ready for some surprises and an unforgettable night!
Travel Arrangements
There are two major airports you can fly into. LAX is about 50 miles away from the venue and you can take either the 101 N or the 405 N. The Burbank airport is about 40 miles away and you can take the 101 N or the 118 W. Please see the invitation inserts for exact directions.
We have blocked rooms for our guests at the Best Western Posada Royale Hotel & Suites in Simi Valley. It is approximately 4 miles away from the venue and the rate is $99 per night. There is an Elephant Bar Restaurant located across from the hotel for dinner and drinks.
