Kathleen and KC met on a blind date on December 5, 2004 and felt an instant connection. Both are Irish and Catholic and one of four (living) children who share many of the same values and interests. Kathleen met KC's kids for the first time on New Year's day 2005 and fell in love with them right away. After a one-year courtship, KC proposed to Kathleen on Christmas eve 2005.
Kathleen and KC will be getting married on August 27, 2006 at Carl House, an 103-year-old antebellum home in Auburn, GA. Sheila Miller and Maureen Zimmerman will be Kathleen's matrons of honor and Katie Conway will be a junior bridesmaid. Grace Conway will be the flower girl.
A dinner reception will immediately follow the ceremony at Carl House. We will be serving wine and beer and will have dancing until 10pm. We ask that you please leave your children at home.

If you tell them you're with the O'Connor/Conway party, you'll get a reduced rate (I think around $92 a night plus tax.) There is also a Hampton Inn next door, but that one doesn't have the reduced rate. From what I understand, you can take a shuttle from the airport to the hotel, but there is no shuttle from the hotel to the reception, which is about 15 minutes away.
