Climate and Weather
California's weather is sunny and mild all year round so any time is a good time to visit. Between summer and winter there is little variation in temperature but if you want to experience the thrill of water sports or warm yourself inside to out by soaking in that welcoming sun on the beach come between May and October. There are the occasional heat spells. The late spring and summer months range from 70 to 85 degrees and the late autumn and winter months boast close to 68 degrees on average accompanied by some rainfall and snowfall in mountainous areas.
