Located on the coast of the Caribbean Sea, Belize is the perfect place for an underwater adventure. While being surrounded by schools of fish and unique wildlife, we are so excited to be swimming around in the second largest barrier reef in the world! This excursion will take us out a couple miles away from shore so we can glide gracefully to watch the beautiful sea life. We will be able to feed nurse sharks and pet the local rays! With multiple destinations to snorkel around, this will be an underwater dream.

Although these hikes do seem intimidating, we are up for the challenge! We will be exploring the hiking trails of Belize and see the magical rainforest that inhabit many animals! These trails will be led by an experienced tour guide on an all-day adventure. The guide will show us that this country is not just about the beaches, but it includes wonderful wildlife and nature. We are so excited to step outside of our comfort zone and dive deeper into the adventurous hiking trials.

Within the Hol Chan Marine Reserve, there is a crazy adventure that is calling our name! Swimming with the sharks and rays of Ambergris Caye will be the experience of a lifetime. The sharks and rays can actually hear the boats coming and swarm the area when their gravy trains approach. Us snorkelers will be able to interact and swim with the harmless animals while the dive-masters keep them in the area by feeding them.

We are so excited to adventure off to the mainland and experience the relaxing yet exciting Cave Tubing excursion! We will be going through the jungle to explore the nature of Belize then experience the majestic cave system from the comfort of an inner tube. As we cruise along the calm waters of the caves, the only light will be shown through our headlamps. The crystal formations will glisten as we take in the beauty of these caves. We cannot wait to splash around!

We are so excited to step off the beach and look into the Hol Chan Marine Reserve! Being able to see the safe habitat for many species will allow us to appreciate our oceans and observe the animals in a different light. Hol Chan Marine Reserve is dedicated to protecting the natural fish and coral habitats in the area from the destructive effects of over-fishing. This special escape from reality is a great place to snorkel and dive with the unique animals. The excursion will be so interesting and unforgettable!

We will be venturing out and traveling to the Blue Hole for the best scuba diving adventure yet! The Blue Hole is the larger part of the Barrier reef and it is the perfect place to explore the magical underwater caves and species of the sea. We will be doing an all-day adventure to look around the dramatic blue sink hole to see fascinating topography. This will be such a life enhancing experience and we cannot wait to check it off our bucket list!

Ambergris Caye is the perfect escape from reality for us. This is the largest island off the Belize coast and is a top destination for those looking for a romantic getaway. The island is filled with beautiful white-sand beaches and clear blue Caribbean waters, which is great for snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing, or just relaxing by the water. We are so excited to explore the San Pedro Town, which has a variety of stores and restaurants. During this day trip, we will soak up the sun and pack in as many activities as possible to make it the perfect break.

Our trip to Belize will not be complete without the exciting adventures of spearfishing! We will be traveling near the amazing reef by boat to do some hunting under the water! This spectacular reef is in danger due to the invasive Lionfish. Not only will we be hunting for our lunch but also helping clear the reef of these animals who are dangerous. Once we have a fair amount of fish, our guide will set up a camp on an island where he will set a fire and prepare us a decadent lunch.

Help us experience what it is like to be a true adventurer in the jungle by going to the Caracol Mayan Ruins. The Caracol Mayan Ruins is unlike any other site in Belize. With the amazing wildlife and secluded area, it is a destination that will make our imaginations run wild. We are so excited to learn more about the underground city and what it used to be like. We will be able to see the city in all of its majesty just by listening to our insightful tour guides. When we close our eyes at the end of the day, we will be able to see what the city once was.

The perfect down time adventure for the perfect day. Placencia is the best place to sit back and enjoy the amazing tropical atmosphere. The town resembles a laid-back Caribbean feel and centers on good food and good times. We will be spending the day lounging on the beaches and going on luxurious walks and kayak rides. This is just what we need after a week of exciting adventures. The calm atmosphere is filled with good vibes and memories that will stay with us forever.

We will be visiting a sweet escape and adventure to one of the countries hidden gems, Big Rock Falls. This getaway is tucked inside Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve near San Ignacio. With jagged rocks creating a flow of rushing water, it is perfect for a private swimming pool. This will be a relaxing adventure during a week of constant movement. This secret romantic sight is usually missed by many, so we will have the afternoon to ourselves!

We will be dining at one of the most popular and distinguished restaurants on the island! This local restaurant Elvi’s kitchen is located in the heart of San Pedro. This meal will truly capture the amazing, fresh cuisine of Belize. The seafood and ambiance will be an excellent way to learn about how special Ambergris Caye really is.

We will be enjoying this romantic candle lit dinner at the beautiful, unique restaurant Hidden Treasure. This fine dining restaurant is tucked away in the residential area of San Pedro. This beautiful, tented restaurant has live music and incredible fresh food. This will be the perfect way to experience high class food with casual outdoor ambiance.

It's just a quick flight to the exciting new experiences awaiting us on our island getaway.

One of the best hidden gems in Central America is the beautiful country of Belize! With secluded beaches and exciting tropical adventures, we will be experiencing this country to the fullest. The long piers and crystal-clear water will allow us to slip away from reality. While exploring the culture and lifestyle, we will be living the dream!

We will be learning about the culture of Belize by having a Gerifuna Drumming lesson! The purpose of this is to celebrate when the Gerifuna people first arrived in the country of Belize. We will be going to the peaceful town of Punta Gorda, Belize and pushing ourselves to learn the beats and dances of the Gerifuna people. Seeing hand-carved instruments and family cultural artifacts will feel like we are fully immersed in this beautiful, lush, atmosphere.
