Matt and Krista first met in their smarty pants High School classes aka Chemistry Honors. They were strictly friends, though Matt claims Krista had a big crush on him, it's debatable. During their Sophomore year, the sparks began to fly when Krista refused to return Matt's spanish dictionary unless he gave her a kiss in return. For the next two years, Krista continued to drop hints while Matt continued to be a pansy. At the beginning of their Senior year Matt's "big move" was a letter ending their friendship.
Four years went by without a word. Then Krista walks into Albertsons on a quest to purchase Grey Goose for a party. To her surprise, the liquor manager who came to her rescue was none other than Matthew Barker. He attempted to convince her that he did not recognize her... so she continued on to make her purchase without even saying goodbye. But Barker finally decided to make his move as he gave Krista his number on a sliver of scrap paper at checkout. Two minutes later Matt received a text... and the rest is history.
