Bride

I was born December 27th 1984, 23 minutes behind my twin brother, Jeff, to Howard Ham and Phyllis Jeansonne, parents who always provided for me everything I needed and more often than not things that I wanted too. We lived in Indio, CA until I was 2, moved to Moreno Valley, CA where we lived until I was 10. I loved being close to my family and seeing my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins on a regular basis.

Then my parents moved us to Tualatin, Oregon where I would live for the next 8 years through college and no longer call myself a Californian, but a Northwest Girl. I loved high school, mostly because Tegan and I were masters of our own fun and cheerleading would rule our worlds even into college.

After High School, I attended Oregon State University, which I loved even more than high school, and would meet my long lost sister, Deanna. We were inseperable, partly because we had all the same classes, but also because we had become great friends and learned so much from each other. I became a major in Athletic Training and have never worked so hard for anything in my life.

After college, I moved to Boise Idaho to attend Graduate School at Boise State University to get my Masters of Kinesiology. During this time I would meet Becca, Robyn, and Natalie....oh and my future husband and love of my life, Jake =)

Groom

I was born August 19, 1985 in San Luis Obispo, CA - the only son of my two wonderful parents, Marc and Jane. At just a few months old the family relocated to Fairfield, ID where I would spend the first 13 years of my life. Growing up in Fairfield was a unique experience for a number of reasons, and as I look back now it is one I wouldn't change for the world. My dad managed a ranch, 10 dirt-road miles from a town of 300 people. Needless to say, we were a family that spent a lot of time together. Most of my childhood memories are centered around ranch life, rodeo, or sports; involving at least one, if not all, of myself, my older sister Jeni and my younger sister Katie.

Throughout my childhood, rodeo came in and out of my life, and after two years of calf roping and team roping in high school I finally put away my boots for good. If there was one thing that always managed to be a constant in my world, it was a love for the game of basketball. From the time my family moved to Gooding, ID before my freshman year of high school to now, some of my greatest memories and best friends have come through my experiences with basketball. I was blessed to have the chance to play two years of college basketball at Columbia Basin College in Pasco, WA.

Life after basketball led me to transferring to Boise State University, where I would earn a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Journalism. While finishing my undergrad studies I also served as Sports Editor of the BSU student newspaper, The Arbiter. Following graduation in December of 2008 I was offered a chance to start working as a volunteer in Media Relations in the Boise State Athletics Department. That opportunity led to a graduate assistant position, which put me through two and a half years of grad school. I would graduate with my Master's in Physical Education in May of 2011. But most importantly, it was during this time that I met my future wife.

As my time at Boise State came to an end I was once again blessed with an incredible opportunity to stay in Boise and see where my still new relationship with Katie might go. With 2 hours left on my final day working at BSU, I was offered a job in Communications and Marketing at College of Western Idaho, just 20 miles down the road. I have been at CWI for just over a year now, and while there is no way of knowing what our futures will hold, if the past is any indication it is going to be an awesome ride.
