We are so excited to sail with everyone!! We wanted to share some tips and helpful information about the boat, ports, and private island.
Download the Royal Carribean app! Starting 12/1 you can book your reservations for the nightly shows on board, plan your activities and see the sialing itinerary.
Check your luggage at the port!! Port staff will be there to take your luggage and it will be delivered to your cabin room. Be sure to bring cash for tipping.
Utopia is a beautiful and very large ship, theres always something to do, eat or drink! All food on board is included, with the exception of the specialty dining. If you purchased the drink package all your drinks are also included at every bar and resturant on board!
Breakfast Tip: There are plenty of options for breakfast, the Wind Jammer is the ship buffet and probably the most popular. The Main Dining hall and Johnny Rockets are both seated table side service. The Solarium is the adults only section on the boat and which also offers breakfast buffet style, but quieter and smaller then the main buffet.
Nassua: You can book excursions ahead of time on the Royal Carribean app or this is another great app to try: Viator
Straw Hat Market is the main shopping market on the island. My personal tip, shop in the middle of the market, there is more walking space and merchants are less agressive.
Junkanoo Beach is a public and free beach, it's about a 15 minute walk from the curise port. Be sure to bring a towel from the boat and cash if you want to rent a chair and umbrella.
The people on this island are wonderful and just trying to make a living. If you're not interested in what they are selling a simple and clear "No thank you" will work just fine.
Coco Cay is Mike and I's favorite island! Everything on this island is free and included with the exception of Thrill Water Park and Hide Away Beach(adults only area). All food and drink is included on this island! If you have the drink package, it works at any bar! The island has many different sections, Chill Beach, South Beach, Oasis Lagoon, Secret Garden Bar, Thrill Water Park and Hideaway Beach. Do not worry about bringing a towel with you for any water activities theres plenty of towel stations available.
The night of Day 4 you'll recieve instructions and tags to check your luggage. Leave your luggage outside your cabin room door by 10:00pm and it will be taken to the port in the morning and you can pick it up at baggage claim. We highly recommend doing this!
Another big recommendation is having breakfast before leaving the boat! All dining areas are open and serve breakfast as long as you get there by 8:00am. Its worth the early start and a nice way to ease back to reality.
