Ryan and Amanda met through mutual friends in November 2004. The friendship they forged through their previous relationships created support for one another through good times and bad. They have been the best of friends for many years.

The two most important qualities they feel that their relationship is based on is love and honesty. They love each other very much. The honesty could almost be characterized as "honest to a flaw" in some cases. Yet, that honesty is the primary building block for an infallable trust between them.

Family is very important to both of them. They each have children. Ryan has two, a son and a daughter. Amanda has one son. They have extended families that reach across the country. Still, they work hard to give the children a sense of strong family values and the knowledge that home is important.

Ryan and Amanda have invited you, whether friend or family, to enjoy this day with them. What this day means to them is a very threefold concept: 1) it reflects the legalization of their relationship, 2) it combines their families forever as one, and 3) it allows them to celebrate the love they share with those who mean most to them: their family and friends. Even if you cannot be there physically, the spirit of the day carries across boundaries to show how amazing life will be from here on out.

Ryan and Amanda have never taken a vacation on their own. Usually, they take the kids everywhere! This registry is their way of instead of asking for homegoods to build a home with, because they pretty well have that covered, for the opportunity to do something that they have yet to do!
