We met through a friend while I was managing Black Bear Diner In Manteca. Ashley was one of my servers and she told me that she had this friend that was really nice and wanted someone to start a life with. I told her to have him come in so we could meet, little did I know that he already knew who I was from coming in to eat.

The first time Jonathon came in I had no idea it was him. He came with a group of friends and they sat there and watched me the whole time. Since I didn't know it was Jonathon I had no clue what was going on. Jonathon never said one word to me. A few days later he came back again when Ashley was there and she introduced us.

From then on we talked everyday and saw each other as often as possible even with me going bacK to Merced to work. On our six month anniversary Jonathon proposed and I said yes. And as they say, the rest is history.
