THANK YOU FOR VISITING OUR WEDDING WEBSITE. YOUR SUPPORT MEANS SO VERY MUCH TO US!! Please be sure to check out our blog, photo album, registry, and welcome page while you are here!
We are elated to announce our upcoming union of hearts and hands on July 14, 2012, in picturesque Natoma, CA on Lake Tahoe. Although we are so very anxious to begin our married lives together, there's still a lot to accomplish before the date. Our wish is for ALL our dear family and friends to gather around us in body, mind and spirit on this, our amazing journey.
For those of you who are unaware of the venue, the wedding will consist of a simple beachside ceremony at the gorgeous Meek's Bay Resort and Marina. We fell in love with the Area (Lake Tahoe) during our trip to a recent wedding, and knew immediately that the gorgeous turquoise blue and emerald green water was the perfect backdrop for our blessed union!
The reception to follow will be held at the same location, in a lovely designated picnic area overlooking Meeks Bay. We are asking guests to bring a small dish to share at our pot-luck buffet. Anything from chips to casseroles...it's up to you! We are anticipating being able to provide a kitchen area in our honeymoon cabin for guests to warm or re-heat dishes prior to reception,if necessary. This plan is entirely dependent on available funds come time to book our stay, and is subject to change. Cake, beverages, candy buffet goodies, and tableware will be provided.
Accomodations, for those of you who wish to arrive early or stay late, consist of on-site campgrounds for $25/night (2 night min.), rustic Meek's Bay cabins, Tahoma Lodge cabins (approximately 5 minutes from the venue), or a string of other Inns and cottages along Emerald Bay Road, Tahoma. BOOK EARLY...these sites go FAST!! You may also drive 20 minutes to Stateline for a variety of budget motels.
All that said (whew!) We are ecstatic to have finally chosen a date and venue, and cannot wait to see all of you on our day of family, fun, sand, sun and all of God's good grace!

While it's true I (Jennifer) have been married before and have already indulged in a big wedding, Brian has not. He has never been married before and true to his loving, sensitive nature, he too holds images and dreams of what he'd like his big day to be like. True we may not be the most traditional of couples, but we still hold old fashioned, traditional values close to our hearts. That said, neither one of us have ever been on a real honeymoon before which would be nice, but our main focus is to gather all our loved ones on this day to witness our joyous new beginning!

Our journey together has been a long and rewarding one. We came together at a time when neither of us were expecting it or looking for it, but at a time most needed. Through our consistant support and encouragement of one another, and acceptance of who we are both individually and as a couple, our love has blossomed into unfathomable realms. None of this would have been possible without the continued faith we hold in our lives. We cherish each and every moment as if it were our last, and have watched our appreciation for eachother grow on a daily basis. Just when we think we couldn't possibly grow any stronger, the sunrise brings yet another beautiful dimension to our relationship and lives together.

Our home is a busy one, never a dull moment. Our kitchen is forever fired up and filled with the sounds of clanging pots and running water. Our bathroom is forever occupied. Our living room is forever cluttered with newspapers, magazines, schoolwork. Our yard is forever over run by weeds and unfinished projects. Our walls are forever echoing the sounds of childrens' laughter, tears, frustrations and triumphs, (and most often smothered with peanut butter and jelly hand prints). Our beds are forever crowded with over-loving animals who refuse to sleep on the ground, Lord forbid! And our hearts are forever taken, by each other and the four precious children God has entrusted us with. Though busy, often times chaotic...we are happy, and we are blessed.
