Joe and I met in September, 2007 at a friends house when he was home on leave from the Navy. I remember my first reaction of him was how handsome he was and of course his height. I didn't see Joe again for almost three years. I also had become good friends with his sister Megan in the last year before he came home and didn't realize that Joe was her younger brother until he came home from the Navy. I instantly had a crush on Joe and tried my best to hide my feelings as I had assumed that my friendship with Megan would be ruined if she found out I had feelings for her little brother. Six months later I finally had the guts to tell him about my crush and as it turned out, not only did he already know but so did Megan and everybody else that saw us together. Apparently I didn't hide my feelings very well! Joe and I started dating soon after and the rest as they say is history :)

Joe and I decided to have a civil ceremony at the Surry County Courthouse. The idea of a nice, big wedding is great but the thought of a large group of people watching us get married terrifies us lol Our parents and siblings will join us at the courthouse for a short ceremony.

We will be having our reception at the Armfield Civic Center in Pilot Mountain, NC at 6pm. There will be food, drinks and dancing :D

Joe and I are very excited about our wedding day and can't wait to share it with our family and friends! Yall mean the world to us!
