Karissa was born and raised in Lanark, IL by her mother Kristy and her father Jim.  She has one sibling Kelsey who will be her maid of honor.  She currently lives in DeKalb with her Fiance where she currently is in the last stages of completing her degree at Norhtern Illinois University.  Karissa is a volleyball coach, and an Athletic Training Student at the University.  Karissa enjoys working out, playing with her dog, and spending time with her friends and family.  Her favorite things about Scott (the groom) is how driven and hardworking he is.  She is very excited to finally marry her highschool sweetheart.  

Scott was born in Forest Park, IL and later moved to Lanark, IL in sixth grade where he met Karissa.  Scott was raised by his mother Juile and father Jerome.  Scott has two siblings Matt, who is his best man, and Kayla, who is a bridesmaid.  Scott currently is perusing a carrerr in pastry arts and really has a gift for creating treats.  Scott enjoys four wheeling, camping, and baking.  Scotts favorite things about Karissa is how selfless and caring she is and how much she values family.  He is more than ready to start his life with the love of his life.
