Nick and I meet in high school when he was sophomore and I was a junior.  Nick spent the next year and a half "picking on me" as he describes it.  After graduation, I went to college and we kept in touch.  I moved home for student teaching and by the end of the summer, we were hanging out again.  However, I got a job in Mountain Home, Idaho and moved south.  For the next two years, we spoke rarely during the school year, and only saw each other when I was home for holidays and family reunions.  Then I came home for one reunion and we spent several hours together talking.  Nick, plotter that he is, began campaigning.  By the Saturday after Thanksgiving, Nick's campaign had succeeded - and we have been together for the last four and a half years.

Getting married in November - Nick and I decided to have an indoor wedding.  The wedding will be casual with lots of family and friends.  In a pair of light filled rooms, we hope to share good food, drinks, great conversation, and a good time with our guests.  The reception will be right after the ceremony.

Big Island Hawaii here we come, but not until July 2013.  We are delaying our honeymoon until next summer.  Nick has never been to Hawaii and we want to decide what we will be doing.  We have talked about doing a Zip Line tour – even though I do not like heights, island hoping over to Maui to see family, and Oahu to visit Pearl Harbor.  We also want to do a night scuba/snorkel with manta rays.
