Jake and I met during our first week of medical school when we were scheduled for a mock exam together. While standing in line waiting to go inside the testing center, Jake decided to approach me and introduce himself. He claims he was just trying to make new friends but I like to think I was the most amazing thing he had ever seen and just had to talk to me. About a week or so later, we pass each other again on campus. I was on my way to the beach for a study break when passing the campus hot dog stand I heard, "Hey! Want to get a hot dog!?" Turns out to be Jake! After politely declining, he decided to join me on the beach which then turned into a magical afternoon stroll and the rest is history! I don't think he ever got the hot dog he ordered that day either! We have been nearly inseparable ever since and continuosly building a strong relationship based on respect, team work, and lots of love. We can't wait to see what is in store for us as we journey through life together!
