Ralph and I met in 2008 when he was a football coach for the Doral Broncos Youth Football program and I had been asked to go there to help the cheerleading program with choreography for competition. At the time we were both "involved". The following football season, I was coaching cheerleading at the same park. We saw each other here and there but nothing more than "Hi, how are you?" was exchanged. In early 2010, we were asked to attend a coach's meeting for the program and ran into each other. We exchanged business cards, he called me the next day, we went out the following week and the rest is history. Here we are 3 1/2 years later, about to become husband and wife and we are so extremely happy, not to mention are more than blessed.

It couldn't have been better if we saw it in a movie. Ralph insisted we go to Disney for New Years Eve (2012), even though going to the parks was not an option. I didn't understand why he was making such a big deal about seeing fireworks. He took us to the Polynesian Hotel to sit on the beach to wait for fireworks. Mind you, it was barely 9pm! Finally, as the music started playing from the Magic Kingdom and all the lights of the hotel and the park were turned off, the only light gleaming was the castle. The countdown to 2013 begins, and as the the fireworks go off and people are screaming "Happy New Year", Ralph is on one knee asking me to marry him. Our girls were video taping and taking pictures while I was in complete shock. They all had this planned since September 2012 and I never had a clue!! I get emotional just thinking about it. It was perfect!

We will be saying "I do" on December 7, 2013 at Olympia Heights United Methodist Church in Miami. Our Pastor and dear friend, Jorge Finlay will be officiating the ceremony. The wedding will include our children, closes family and friends.

We have decided to travel to the beautiful beaches of La Romana in the Dominican Republic to one of their amazing all inclusive resorts. We have never traveled outside of the U.S. together and what a better way to do so then for our honeymoon?
