Vanessa and Julian first laid eyes on each other during a family BBQ, which Vanessa had been invited to by one of her best friend’s, Natalie. When Julian walked into his aunt’s home that afternoon he did not expect to see such beauty sitting and laughing with his family. Nevertheless, their paths continued to cross over the next couple years, and when heaven and earth finally aligned, Vanessa felt compelled to reach out to Julian for the cup of coffee he had once promised her. The connection between Julian and Vanessa was instantaneous, that coffee date turned into dinner and a movie.

When their first date had finally arrived, Vanessa found herself extremely nervous as if it was her very first date ever – with sweaty palms and tickling butterflies in her stomach. It was 6pm on a Monday evening, and like a gentlemen, Julian pulled up to Vanessa’s home and opened the passenger door for her. They felt like everything around them had slowed down, and they were able to enjoy stories and laughter throughout the night as if they had known each other their entire lives. Vanessa thought, “Where have you been all of my life?” out loud! Julian smiled and responded with, “I’ve been here, where have you been?” After their first date they became inseparable.
