Get ready for the most exciting story in the world!!! hahaha. I belive our story begins with FACEBOOK. If it hadn't been for facebook there would be no wedding. As it usually happens Kristin added me as a friend on Facebook. After confirming the friendship, and seeing her profile picture (she was hot) I decided to dig deeper. I read through all of her info and look through 99.9% of her photos.....I know I know.. creeper right? well I decided to send Kristin a message just to see why she would add me. Come to find out she had heard of my band that I was in and was wanting us to come to her church. I thought that was cool and all, but then we started sending each other books for messages on facebook. A message turned into video messages. Video messages turned into video chatting. Video chatting turned into me meeting her in West Memphis, Ar. I can remember the trip to West Memphis and my uncle teasing me about meeting her for the first time. Which made me even more nervous. Anyways, I met her in the parking lot of First Baptist Church of West Memphis. I was ready to take her out to a nice restraunt and maybe a movie, but she suggested we just order a pizza and watch a movie at her house. I knew right then we were getting married. (haha not really but close) We go to her house and have a great awkward time of story telling and a little blast from the past conversation. Afterwards she took me back to my truck where we both froze as we were telling each other by. The first night I met her and left her we kissed. Probably the most awkward thing of my life, but the coolest things I had ever experienced. The drive home was when I realized that I just had kissed my future wife. The only problem was she had no clue she was hahaha. I'm pretty sure after that night it was understood we were dating. We decided to meet again for a second date. This time we went to the zoo, which was the coolest things we ever did. I believe it was that night that we both realized that this relationship was more than what we thought it was going to be. I remeber as I was leaving her house I officially asked her to go out with me. She replied with the most incredible response. She made me promise her that i would be a spiritual leader, and would respect her and her boundaries. Basically she layed down the law haha. I took on the challenge, and that night we started a journey that has led us to this point. Its been a long journey, and we have been tested. We really feel God has brought us to this point together. We believe this relationship is God breathed and was meant to be from the beginning. We really do appreciate the support of our friends and family and we are so excited about sharing this excited time with everyone. |
