Jason and Heather met in 2003 while working at Cheers Restaurant. Jason had only been living in Virginia for four months. Through the years, Heather graduated high school, attended Longwood University, studied in France and in December 2007 graduated from Longwood University with a teaching license and a B.A. in French Language. She is now teaching French at Lake Taylor High School in the Norfolk Public School system. Jason is from Hunker, PA. Jason joined the Texas Roadhouse team in Yorktown, Virginia, then opened the Chesapeake, Virginia store where he is currently located. He has been with the company a total of 9 years, beginning in PA when he started as a meat cutter and worked his way up. Heather signed a contract June 6th to work at Blair Middle School next year in Norfolk teaching French 1, French 2, an introduction to French class, and an exploratory language class.
Their engagement was in Paris, France, on the very top of the Eiffel Tower on April 15, 2007. Jason spent two weeks in Europe while Heather studied abroad. Together, they spent time in Aix-en-Provence, Paris, Brittany, Normandy, and Spain.
On June 28, 2008, Jason and Heather will be wed at Great Bridge Presbyterian Church at 4:00pm. Great Bridge Presbyterian Church is located at 333 Cedar Road, Chesapeake, VA 23322. Across from City Hall. The doors will open at 3:30.
The reception will take place following the ceremony at The Portsmouth Women's Club in Portsmouth, Virginia. We will be driving to Orlando, Florida Sunday morning for our honeymoon...Disney World!
Please bring your brochures for the directions from the church to the reception site. We will have cards with directions for you after the ceremony should you forget.

We have chosen 2 hotels and blocked rooms off in each. Both hotels are
located 8 miles from the reception site and 9 miles from the church. It is also
located right off of I-664 for your traveling needs. Chesapeake Square Mall and
several restaurants and stores are right up the road from the hotels. Should you
choose to use one of our hotels that we have blocked off, you will need to call
and tell the hotel that you are apart of our party so you receive the 10% off
booking fee. Rooms are blocked for both Friday June 27 and Saturday June 28.
Each hotel has a hot breakfast which is included in your price, a pool, and a
gym. We encourage you to book one of these hotels so everyone is in one area and
you can follow each other to and from the wedding and reception.
