Welcome

Brian and I met in February 2011. It was a bonfire my friend Rachel and I were having. Her boyfriend Jason brought his friend, Brian. Brian and I didn't talk much during the bonfire, but after everybody else went to bed, Brian and I remained. At this point we finally started talking one on one. We hit it off, but waited a month before officially becoming a couple!

Its probably not such a shock to find out that I said it first! We were lying on the couch at my apartment in late August 2011, watching a movie. I had been contemplating how to tell him how I felt. I was nervous. But I wanted him to know. As the movie ended I looked over at him, gave him a kiss and said "You don't need to say anything but I want you to know that I love you." He didn't say anything...He just looked at me and smiled. It wasn't until about a month and a half later, late at night in Moses Lake that Brian finally said "You know that I...ya know." That was good enough for me! It took another month or so and he finally said the words "I love you." But he never needed to say it...his actions always spoke for him! I'm the luckiest girl in the world!

Moses Lake October 2013. We were in town for a tractor pull. On Friday when we arrived, Brian had asked me what I thought of taking our christmas photos here. It was a beautiful fall day and I couldn't have agreed more that this place would make for great christmas photos! The next day, Brian puts me on our "new" Allis Chalmers. Of course I didn't know anything about this tractor and as Brian is trying to teach me I almost run him over! Luckily he is quick on his feet! Brian then tells me to drive the tractor over to the grass where the trees are in the background. When I get there I see our friend Randi, Hank, and Rikki waiting for us with cameras... 3 people taking OUR christmas photos? Seems a little much but OK! As we are taking photos, Brian suddenly turns to me and says "Ready for the funny photo?" "Ok what do you want to do in the funny photo?" Its then that Brians hand comes from behind his back, "Will you Marry me?" OMG what did he say? Did he just ask me to marry him? OMG HE DID! AND release the tears! As I'm crying, hugging and kissing him, he says "Is that a yes?" AWWW Crap I forgot to answer! "Yes of course I will!" I'm so glad that our friends were there to share in this with us and capture the moment! A big thank you to our friends Randi and Hank for keeping the secret!

It wasn't more that a couple weeks after we set the date that we found our Venue! It was beautiful! An old Barn from the WWII era! And even better, all the money goes towards a children foundation that helps kids from low income families learn how to grow and cook their own food! Talk about a cool charity that we can get behind!

We want our wedding to be a traditional yet very low key, down to earth event. Intimate and special! Those things are very important to us! We want to share this amazing moment in our lives with the ones we love and who love us! We are so excited to be starting our lives together and can't wait for our big day!
