Hello everyone! Our story starts over 15 years ago when we were in junior high at Woodland. I fell for the 8th grade boy who had a bowl hair cut and baggy jeans. He broke my heart by writing, "Nicole, you're a cool chick, but I don't like you like that" in sharpie, in my yearbook. However, it didn't stay broken long as we soon became friends after the fact.

Throughout high school, while dating one of my closest friends, we became closer, confiding and loving one another just as close friends do. It wasn't until June 2012 that he came home for a visit. He was living in Sarasota at the time. Upon seeing each other, new and exciting feelings emerged. While the distance made it unrealistic to try and be in a relationship, we stayed friends. 

Pain June 2013, we couldn't be "just friends" any longer. Sealing the deal, we became a couple, and a month later, he moved back to Fayetteville. On March 8, 2014, at our going away party (I landed a job in Fort Myers, FL and we were leaving mid-March), he got down on one knee with a crystal bucket full of water and sea shells. Asking me to be his wife, I happily accepted and well...the rest is history!!!
