love is a beautiful thing
love is a beautiful thing
Ashley and Tiicon met in 2002 through a friend, at the end of her senior year in high school. They went out on several casual dates but knew that they could not settle down as Ashley would soon be moving away to Tampa to begin her college ambitions. While away in college, Ashley and Tiicon remained very good friends, while deciding to date other people. After two years of friendship and other relationships, Ashley and Tiicon realized that the feelings that they had for one another went far past the friendship realm and decided to take a chance at a long distance relationship. Wanting a change of scenery from the crowded and congested Miami, and realizing that the long distance between the two was a strain, Tiicon bid Miami farewell, packed up his belongings and moved to Tampa. The couple dated for two years before giving birth to a beautiful baby boy in December of 2006, whom they named Tiicon, Jr. In April of 2007, realizing that he has found what he was looking for in life with Ashley and their new baby, Tiicon gathered family and dear friends at a local restaurant and proposed to Ashley before the main entree was served. She said YES!!!! They plan to wed on Saturday Sept 26, 2009, 5 years from the exact date they began dating officially!!
