Our Story
On the evening of June 16, 2010, 2 worlds rotating in close proximity of each other for YEARS collided in the Choir Room of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship. Not wanting to be late, Aledra Denson rushed home from work, prepared herself to attend the rehearsal of the OCBF Youth Voices for Christ Reunion. Had her best friend Kine answered the phone, she probably would have changed her evening’s schedule. But, detesting tardiness, she achieved her goal and arrived for rehearsal early – nearly two hours early.
Had Jamian Eubanks listened to the enticing offer of going with the band for dinner before rehearsal, this page might not exist, but desiring to be fully prepared for rehearsal, he ventured to the choir room to listen to the songs in the comfort of solitude. Little did he know that he would meet providence, as heaven was already in the room.
Jamian walked in, slightly startled that there was anyone else in the room. Unaware of what was to come, he spoke and continued to the piano where he began to work. Every time his gaze peered over the ebony music stand, he caught a glimpse of her glory.
Finally, curiosity got the better of him and he mustered up enough nerve to walk over and introduce himself to the one that would captivate his heart forever. She spoke and that marked the beginning of their “Fantastic Voyage” together.
Our Wedding
Sunday, February 20, 2011 our close family and closest friends will join us aboard the Carnival Conquest as we unite before God and our guests in Holy Matrimony in a small, simple yet elegant ceremony. We wish that we could share this special day with everyone that we knew, but our responsibility is to be stewards of the resources that God has given us. But, thanks to Carnival's video technicians, anyone who couldn't be there live is more than welcome to stop by and we'll make popcorn and watch the video with you as many times (once) as you'd care to.
Our Reception
Once again, the amazing folks at Carnival have that covered. We will celebrate the first moments of our union Carnival-style. Our guests will enjoy a brief moment of the exquisite tastes and superb hospitality that the staff onboard the Carnival Conquest will lavish on us once we set sail on our 7-day honeymoon!!!
