Bart and Sarah first met at a concert in 2012 when Sarah was studying in the Netherlands. Sarah was looking for her friends in the crowd when she tripped over a pile of coats and nearly fell over. A man caught her. When she looked up she saw Bart.

Over the years they kept in touch and started dating in 2015. By dating we mean flying back and forth between Switzerland and the Netherlands every couple of weeks. 

On November 22nd 2019, Bart got down on one knee at Lac Leman and asked Sarah to marry him. She said YES! 

Sarah has since moved to the Netherlands where she and Bart plan to live together.
