We met at an autism charity. Our paths crossed many times but it took 3 years before we spoke at length. 3 hours over one cup of coffee to be exact. We laughed so much and it was so nice not having to explain how our lives were different than neurotypical parents, we just didn't want to the laughs and conversation to end. And now it never has to!
