Angie and James had met through Angie's brother Paul when they were about 15-16 years old. They would all hangout, and of course the two of them would joke around and pretend like they didn't like each other infront of everyone. But when no one was looking, or so they thought, they would flirt around with one another.  But they were young and since James was friends with Paul, he didn't want to upset him and decided that it wasn't the right time. 

Over the years they stayed in contact with eachother and caught up a few different times. But this last time is when James decide he really wanted to make things serious and tried harder then he ever did in the previous years. He also decided this was the time to never let Angie go.  So he would joke around and say hey lets go get a ring and just do this, or I think a ring would look really good on that finger and the best one was I think my last name sounds amazing with mine, what do you think. Angie would just laugh thinking he's not really serious, until James said, I'm really being serious I want to marry you, I love you and I always have.  

Those words brought tears to Angie's eyes and she then said well we can get married while on vacation next year, not knowing he would say,"ok, lets do it!" After all the years of Angie pushing James away, but always had a special place in her heart for him, she decided to finally let him in and said yes!
