After looking for love in all the wrong places in August of 2016 our paths crossed but not in the usual way. Let's just say we were destined to meet! After a short courtship and few Guinness later, we knew this connection was meant to be.  Even though we grew up in different cities with different backgrounds (Mexican him and African American, me) our Midwest and East coast personalities have a few things in common, one being our love for family, especially our children! 

We have a picture in our room that says My Favorite Love Story Is Ours. When I think about it, it truly is. We make each other laugh, even during the tough times, we hold each other up without saying a word and when we think of the future we are always facing in the same direction. Yes, we are totally opposite in personality but that is the magic. Even though other partners have come before, we know this partnership was created and decided in the heavens.

Its been five years still going strong and we are curious to see what else awaits us on this journey of love!
