Just after Lexi returned from the Sonora Farmer's Market, she and Jake met to discuss him renting a room from her.  What was supposed to be quick chat about expectations and details turned into a long 2 hour conversation about life and so much more!

While Lexi messaged Jake letting him know that she would hold the room for him, he never got back to her!  So, she rented the room to someone else.  Later, it became known that Jake decided not to rent the room because he knew it might impact his chances with Lexi!  Now, Jake jokes that he got the bigger room and the girl!  (After months of dating, Jake eventually moved in).

With Jake originally declining the room, it was unlikely that the two would speak again!  However, Lexi had posted about her favorite tea at the time, and Jake "accidentally" slid up on her story which prompted Lexi to ask Jake on a date.  (Jake still claims it really was an accident).  Lexi and Jake's story began at The Peppery and live music at what used to be Caffe Blossom, and it's been a series of adventures sense then.

Now, let's get to the juicy stuff: How did Jake get a ring on Lexi's finger?

Lexi and Jake were modeling in an elopment shoot for a photographer friend when Jake actually decided to get down on one knee and propose!  Lexi was unsure whether it was real or not, so she kept running away and laughing!  Like Jake and Lexi, their engagement story is unique and quirky - which is exactly why they love it!
