How did we meet?

Well .. ;)

Harold is a Kids Jiu Jitsu Instructor @ 10th Planet and Janet trained jiujitsu at the same gym that Harold taught at.
Harold recently moved to San Diego from New Jersey a couple years before training and teaching at the gym.

Harold usually was seen at the front desk when Janet would sign in at the gym. They exchanged smiles and brief friendly conversation. Sometimes they would even train in the same class but didn't even realize till after they were dating.

It was one day that Harold had messaged Janet about how she was feeling since he hadn't seen her at practice for a couple of days. That day changed their lives forever.

They started to talk and get close, then one day, Harold asked Janet out to go to her first hockey game to see the San Diego Gulls. That's where he asked her to be his girlfriend, and the rest is history <3 

They have now been together for nearly 5 years. They have a black labrador dachsund that they've had since they moved in together in 2019. 

They have been happily married since October 8, 2021, and had their beautiful baby girl, Frankie Aria Van Arsdale on December 1, 2021.

 

They continue to train and have adventures even with their little one.
