November 21, 2019 a wonderful bright and adventurous story began between Kirsten Stone & Jason Simms. Changing out of messy scrubs into a vivid royal blue blouse, Kirsten met Jason with his bright orange tie accompanied with a worn out navy blue sport coat for their first date at Starbucks. Little did they know a 2 and half hour coffee conversation would lead to a year filled with a global pandemic, a forever home built, a new best friend and a strong Christian foundation for a lifelong partnership. Kirsten & Jason both left that night with a feeling not felt by most but cherished by many.

The bride & groom voraciously needed another date! They went to Mi Cocina for their first tacos, “taboo” questions (you’ll have to ask them about those), and inevitably led to their first kiss. Jason was nervous for that first kiss, but after opening her door to conclude the night he leaned in close and said, “Give me a kiss”.  Kirsten & Jason shared that first kiss and as the Ancient Roman Poet Catullus says “Then, when we have counted up many thousands, Let us shake the abacus, so that no one may know the number, And become jealous when they see how many kisses we have shared.”

Long lasting relationships take time and of course walls need to be broken. Kirsten & Jason each step of the way, and even today, tare down these walls. From taking a leap into Jason’s truck to the Gaylord for the very first time, a Magic Kingdom New Years adventure, walks on the shores of South Beach, road trips deep in the deep Colorado Mountains, and saying yes for a lifelong forever partnership enabled growth not seen before by both.

These two complement one another like a pirate and his treasure or a princess with her glass slippers and they are always on the “same page”. However, Kirsten & Jason realize they might not always be on the same page or the world might come crashing down, but they have love, trust, confidence, honesty, and transparency with one another to help them prosper through tough times.

Kirsten & Jason’s story starts a new path on July 3rd 2021. This story will be filled with adventure, curiosity, compassion, and willingness to grow with one another each day. They are thrilled to have their closest friends and family along for the ride throughout the next chapters. It’s going to be a long long long book, so get ready folks and buckle up!
