The tropical seas of Yasawa are clear and teeming with marine life. Whether we are first-timers or experienced divers, these waters will be ours to explore under the guidance of the resort’s accredited PADI diving instructor and dive masters. With a promise to protect the island’s unspoiled environment, Yasawa takes small groups diving on the spectacular reefs that surround these shores, many of them undiscovered until only recently. A special treat between May and October are migrating manta rays.

On our tropical honeymoon, we will learn the basics of Scuba Diving. An accredited PADI diving instructor will teach us all that we need to know before exploring the majestic beauty of the ocean. This is a wonderful wedding gift and the certification will be international!

Our Deluxe Bure is vast and free-standing, offering ocean panoramas from inside and out. A split-level design creates separate living and sleeping areas inside, while broad decks and shaded day-beds extend the living space outside. This soothing sanctuary boasts a pillow top king size bed with luxurious bed covers, an indoor/outdoor bathroom, a spacious living area, a private outdoor shower, an outdoor living space complete with a sundeck, a pair of lounges and a private beach hut with a hammock.

Manasa’s Bar is the perfect place for us to relax and refuel after a day of honeymoon adventures. At Manasa’s Bar, located poolside with complimentary wireless internet access, we will choose from an extensive menu featuring signature cocktails, tropical concoctions and more.

We will enjoy our favorite bottle of wine with Yasawa’s extensive wine list. We will choose from carefully selected wines from Australia and New Zealand, and prestige champagne vintages from France.

In a tranquil setting at the spa, I will be pampered with a relaxing fully body massage ideal for overcoming the draining effects of modern-day travel. This massage is designed to alleviate body stiffness and revive the senses using a fragrant blend of tropical oils including Frangipani.

On my honeymoon at Yasawa Island Resort & Spa, I will indulge in the Warm Banana Leaf Body Pack. A rich hydrating mask of warm sea elements will be applied before a soothing wrap of fresh banana leaves. While cocooned in the nourishing wrap, I will receive a gentle face and scalp massage.

I will receive a deep muscular manipulation massage that is popular with athletes to relieve muscle tension, using the traditional Fijian “Bobo” techniques with a sandalwood essence to stimulate circulation and relieve tension.

In a peaceful setting, I will indulge in the Rhythm of the Beach Massage on my honeymoon. I will receive a four-handed massage with two therapists providing a combination of South Pacific styles, in harmonious rhythm to the sound of the waves.
