How much does it cost?
It’s free to sign-up and register with Honeymoon Wishes. We only charge a small service and handling fee to maintain the convenience of a full-service registry, live customer service and the highest levels of security, encryption and insurance. This is often less than the shipping, taxes and gift-wrapping charges of traditional registries. Plus, there is no hassle or embarrassment of returning or exchanging unwanted gifts! The fee can be added or deducted from each gift amount, meaning your guests will be charged a 7% fee at check-out, or you can opt to deduct 7% from your gift total.
Unlike other registry sites, there are no hidden fees and we guarantee a spam-free experience. Anyone using a credit card will be charged the commercial standard 2.65% processing fee. We do not profit from this fee.
How do I notify my guests about my registry and wedding website?
We provide downloadable and printable announcements, an email announcement wizard, a personal wedding website and social tools to share your registry.
What is a wedding website?
Approximately 80% of wedding couples create a personal website to share stories of how they met, their engagement, wedding day details, travel arrangements and more. Does Honeymoon Wishes book the experiences and activities for me?
We give you the freedom to choose the venue, company and supplier, which means we don’t book anything. However, we can send your funds directly to select travel partners. If your supplier requires you to book in a certain manner, we will notify you online under "Notes to Couple" and send you an email once the item is purchased for you with booking instructions.
How do I know how much to ask for?
When you set up your Honeymoon Wishes registry, we suggest gift amounts for each tour or activity per person per area. However, you’re free to ask for whatever you’d like and can break down the amounts any way you choose. For example, if an item costs $200.00, you may choose to ask for "2 gifts of $100.00" or "4 gifts of $50.00," etc.
NOTE: Prices vary by location, availability, and are subject to change without notice. If you've chosen to send gifts directly to a partner service provider, those prices will be listed in the exact amount for you.
How am I notified of a purchase?
We send you an email to view your "Gift Announcement" filled out by your guests. They can choose to post this personalized gift announcement on your registry under the “Well Wishes” section and/or print it out to hand to you. You can also log onto your account at anytime and go to "View Gifts" for details. Lastly, you can use our “Thank You Tracker” tool to compose handwritten “Thank You” cards through your account.
How long will my registry remain active?
As soon as you set up your registry, guests can view and give gifts. It will remain active until you delete it.
What if I don’t know where we’re going? What if I have changes?
You can label your account as "Undecided" or "It's a Surprise!" If you decide on a location later, you can always update destination.
Can I use Honeymoon Wishes if I’m not from the US?
Absolutely! All amounts will remain listed in US currency. For those who choose to send money directly to you, we recommend us PayPal to send it in a timely manner.
Can I set this up for a couple as a surprise or use Honeymoon Wishes for my Anniversary, Birthday or Graduation?
Yes! Many couples use Honeymoon Wishes for anniversaries, vow renewals and other special events. Visit our other registry sites, AnniversaryWishes.com and CelebrationWishes.com, for more details.

How do I know how much to give?
We work with our partner service providers and travel suppliers to create suggested gift amounts. Couples can divide the gift into smaller amounts so you can provide a portion or the entire amount requested. For example, if a honeymoon suite upgrade that costs $600.00 is divided into 10 gifts of $60.00 each, you can buy 1, 2, 3 or all 10 gifts. Similarly, you can buy parts of multiple items.
All gift amounts are displayed and transacted in US currency. If you’re viewing this site from outside of the United States, please double check the currency exchange rates when purchasing gifts.
Why is Honeymoon Wishes better than giving money at the wedding?

Why is there a 7% service and handling fee?
This fee allows us to run a secure website, deliver gifts, provide live customer service, keep a complete accounting history, host wedding websites, process gift certificates and credit cards securely, remain bonded and insured as well as PCI compliant.
There’s a standard 2.65% processing fee on all credit card purchases. We do not profit from this fee.
How do I find the couple’s registry list?
Click on “Find A Couple” in the main navigation. Once on the directory page, enter the couple’s names. If there are several couples with the same name, you can choose from the list.
How do I buy the couple a wedding gift?
Browse the list of gifts that the couple has registered for, make a selection and amount you prefer and then follow the checkout prompts.
Where does my gift money go after I make a purchase?
The couple will receive a gift certificate, hotel or cruise line credit and/or funds in their account. Distribution of funds is dependent on the account setup.
Is Honeymoon Wishes secure?
Our website is secure. In fact, it’s the only honeymoon registry to be PCI compliant, so you can feel confident when entering personal information. Do you store my personal credit card information?
No, we do not have access to your credit card information post-purchase. Additionally, we do not store or sell your personal information. Please review our Privacy Policy, or click on our Trust Guard security report for details.

How does the couple see what I purchased for them?
After you make a purchase, we send the couple an email to view the "Gift Announcement.” During the checkout process, you have the options to personalize it, post a message on the “Well Wishes” section and/or create a customized deluxe gift card to mail or give to the couple in person. Couples can use the “Thank You Tracker” or “View Gifts.”
