We will get into a 4 wheel-drive vehicle for a ride through the deep valleys of Moorea. Our honeymoon adventure begins with a drive to Paopao Valley passing pineapple plantations, crossing the Paopao Opunohu trail to the territorial property of Opunohu, we will stop at "TITIROA MARAE". A temple strictly reserved for the gods as we continue to Papetoai Village to visit the first Christian church in French Polynesia. Built by the London Missionary Society in 1822.

Enjoying a tour around one of the beautiful island of Tahiti. We'll see all the points of interest, both scenic and historic. We begin on the East Coast of the island, and make our way around to the west coast by crossing over the isthmus of Taravao where the big island is joined to its peninsula. Our day will be filled with cultural, natural and historical sights

We will take a boat to a very secluded beach and spend the afternoon alone. How romantic is that?

Ben will be a newly certified Diver just in time, so that we could dive here around some of the most spectacular atolls of all time. He's really excited. Really. We will hopefully be doing three or four dives on each island.

In between our visits to Moorea and Bora Bora, we're planning to stop over on Tahiti for some serious dancing.

A 40 minute plane ride gets us to Bora Bora, where we will be staying at the Pearl Resort and Spa for 4 nights at the beginning of our trip!

10 Kilometers north of Tahiti is the island of Moorea, where we have an overwater bungalow for 4 nights at the Pearl Beach Resort!

In between our time on Moorea and Bora Bora, we'll be stopping in Tahiti at the Sheraton Hotel Tahiti on the weekend for some serious dancing.

To use Dave Cox's words... "The Fisherman's Sandwich." He assures me he doesn't want to run out.

There are several restaurants and bars within the Pearl, but numerous others around the island and in the village.

We will choose from one of the many casual restaurants set on the beach. Then kick back and enjoy a local dish, the fun atmosphere, a refreshing cool drink, and great views.

At sunset, on the Papeete waterfront, "Les Roulottes" roll in and begin to set up for their evening diners. Roulottes are restaurants on wheels! Each one has its own cuisine and distinctive charm. Les Roulottes, surrounded by locals as we enjoy the island favorites and the sounds of the local music in Vaiete Square.

Unlike our usual vacations, we won't be catching it ourselves... this time we're going to be served!!!

Visiting this picturesque village, nestled by the Lagoon of Haapiti. It depicts the "old Tahiti" with its typical thatched-roof pandanus houses. We will enjoy an evening in a Polynesian Village of yesterday, with typical Polynesian dishes cooked in the traditional style during the feast we are entertained by a trio of musicians, then a spectacular dance show will tell us of the Tahitian Legends, all performed in the natural settings of an open air theatre.

We take flights to and from Tahiti and Bora Bora on a light plane or inter-island charter.

Since we really can't get enough of it at home..? This time it's on indiginous horses from the Marquesas. No spurs required I hope...
