Meet your guide at the port and board the bus to begin an orientative tour through the main streets and squares of this dynamic town. After reaching the centre of Athens we will arrive at the famous Acropolis which stands at 80 metres above the city; for thousands of years Acropolis has been symbol of Athens, the sacred rock. The visit will give you the possibility of admiring the masterpieces of the golden age of Greece. A winding pathwat with about 150 steps will lead you to the top of the hill where you will see the Erectheum, the Temple of Wingless Victory and the symbol of Greece: the Parthenon. The temple, dedicated to the patron goddess of Athens, Athena, is the largest and most impressive temple of all Greece. Your tour will then continue by walking down the acropolis pedestrian zone to reach the recently opened new Acropolis Museum. You will be impressed during your 1,5 hour visit of the new modern museum building which contains all statues, sculptures and marbles of the Parthenon. Short stop to buy some souvenirs before returning to the ship.

There is nothing like a relaxing horseback ride taking in the beautiful scenery of our surroundings.

Take a fascinating boat tour along the Bosphorus Strait, which divides the towns in two parts and is situated between two continents. Board a boat in Istanbul and head to the Sea of Marmara toward the Asian part of the town. Admire the ancient quarters of Uskudar and Kuzguncuk, with wooden villas and houses. Sail by Dolmabahce Palace, Ortakoy Quarter, and Leander’s Tower situated on the small island of Kiz Kulesi. View Beylerbeyi Palace, the summer residence of the Ottoman sultans, then pass under the two bridges connecting Asia and Europe. The tour also includes some time to see a typical carpet demonstration and/or to shop in a luxury jewelry store before having free time for shopping in the spice market.

See Dubrovnik in all its historical splendor in this tour through the narrow streets and along the ramparts of this UNESCO World Heritage city. Walk through the city and admire the Cathedral of the Assumption of Mary, a masterwork of stone whose inside is adorned with Venetian paintings. The town was given its original name “Dubraca” by the Slavs, which stands for “grove of the oak.” Admire the Rector’s Palace, seat of the government and residence of the Prince (Rector) of the Dubrovnik Republic. It was built in the late Gothic style by Onofrio de la Cava, an architect from Naples who also built the waterworks and the two public fountains in Dubrovnik. Visit the Monastery of St. Francis, whose cloister is one of the most magnificent sites in town; the Monastery also houses the oldest pharmacy in Europe, opened in 1317. At the end of the walking tour, there will be free time to enjoy, individually, the most interesting places of the old city.

No visit to Venice, the romantic town, can be considered complete without a sailing on a typical Venetian gondola. From the canals, admire the bridges, noble Palaces, and the typical Venetian streets called “calli.” There will be free time in St. Mark's Square before starting a real discovery of the “calli” with a guide. Note: No guide service is available during the 40-minute gondola sailing. The excursion will end at the port for transit guests and at the airport for the disembarking guests; disembarking guests must have their flight home after 5:30 p.m. from Venice airport.

Enjoy a scenic bus drive to the Konavle Valley around Dubrovnik, with views of the Adriatic Sea and the beauty of traditional villages. Visit the village house of the Novakovic family, where a small cultural collection of the region is kept. Walk amid nature as you observe domestic animals and pick fruits from the trees. Also enjoy a live performance by local musicians singing Dalmatian songs and dancers dressed in folk outfits dancing a traditional dance. Taste local liqueurs and wine, smoked ham, homemade bread and cheese. Return to Dubrovnik, where a short guided walking tour of the old town will conclude the excursion.

The excursion begins with a walking tour through the old town of Kotor, one of the best preserved medieval towns in this part of the Mediterranean. The asymmetric structure of the narrow streets and squares combined with the numerous monuments of medieval architecture contributed to Kotor being placed on UNESCO's list. Visit the Maritime Museum and the Cathedral of St. Tripun. Continue to Perast, whose prosperity was based on maritime trade; the city is the most prominent example of Baroque architecture on the Montenegrin coast, with sumptuous palaces and elegant houses. Visit the Maritime Museum, St. Nicola Church and the Church of Our Lady of Rock on an artificial island in the middle of the beautiful Boka Bay.

Located on the northern banks of the Black Sea, the town of Odessa was founded by Catherine the Great in 1794. Enjoy a walking tour along the main promenade of Odessa to admire the Potemkin Staircase, Pushkin's Monument and the exterior of the Opera House. Visit the Museum of Fine Arts to admire a beautiful collection of Ukrainian and Russian paintings. There will be a short stop in the Arcadia area, which is rich in restaurants. Stop at Shevchenko Park to admire an enchanting view over the Black Sea.

Depart from the port to the Swallow’s Nest, a medieval castle, for a photo stop. Continue to Alupka Palace, a famous seaside resort on the Crimena southern coast, to visit the Museum Palace, former Voronzov Palace, which includes a rich collection of paintings and sculptures. Continue to

Depart the port for Olympia, which according to legend, was built as a wish of the king of the gods to promote the cult among the Greek. Admire the ruins of the Temple of Zeus, the gymnasium, the hippodrome and the stadium, which is able to welcome as many as 40,000 spectators. The tour will continue to a restaurant in Katakolon where guests can enjoy a typical folkloric show and a snack.

What could be better than knowing we'll have breakfast to enjoy between the sheets? We'll order eggs florentine, cinnamon rolls, freshly squeezed orange juice and hot coffee which all seem to taste better served to us in bed!

It's casual, fun and perfect for an afternoon lunch. With so many restaurants in town, we'll choose the most perfect, casual restaurant where we'll take delight in the juiciest burgers, fresh sandwiches, chicken and fries!

Wonder who will feed who grapes in bed? We'll order a nice basket of fruit that should keep our energy high.

We will have to choose from all the local Italian restaurants in town to reserve the perfect table in the most romantic setting. We will tantalize our taste buds with homemade pasta, Panini, fresh Seafood, select an Italian vino and enjoy the best dessert ever, ending with a cup of cappuccino. Now that's amore!

We will start with our favorite delicacies at the sushi bar in our chosen Japanese restaurant. Then, enjoy the authentic Japanese dining room, where award-winning chefs skillfully twirl their knives through the air during the teppanyaki cooking show. We may even try a glass or two of hot sake.

We love to spice things up! We'll pick the most fabulous Mexican food restaurant in town, reserve our table and savor South of the Border tacos, tamales and other authentic Mexican favorites all topped off with some fresh salsa. Ole!

All choices are grilled the classic way juicy, tender, with the flavors developed fully. This is a sanctuary for us steak aficionados. Our mouths are watering just thinking about it.

With so many ice cream parlors in town, we'll try everything from hot fudge sundaes to soft serve ice cream and thick milkshakes. Who cares about the diet on our fantastic getaway!

We would love to shop around for our favorite piece of art as a cherished keepsake from our once in a lifetime trip. This gift will adorn our home for many years to come!
