With your wedding gift we will tube the flumes and ditches of the old Lihue Plantation and take a leisurely float through a uniquely engineered waterway seeing the island's tropical and lush beauty and exotic birds and wildlife. The nice thing about it, having a lovely picnic lunch for two in paradise with you!

Stepping back in time this honeymoon experience will take us to the ancient Mayan ceremonial center, built in the year 445 A.D., one of the most impressive in the peninsula. Here we will have the opportunity to climb the 91 steps of the Kukulkan Pyramid and test the acoustics in the largest ball court of the Americas. We'll walk the same paths as the Mayan priests did to make their sacrifices to the gods at the sacred well!

With this honeymoon tour we will experience the uniqueness of Tulum, the only walled city built by the Mayans. Witness its temples, perched on cliffs overlooking the turquoise Caribbean Sea, descend the cliffside path to the pristine beach below, then cool off by snorkeling among schools of tropical fish in the tropical natural lagoon Xel-Ha, the world's largest natural aquarium.

One of Cancun's first restaurants boasts a quite garden setting with soft music playing in the background. We will choose from a selection of Mexican specialties such as enchiladas suizas or tampiquena-style (thinly sliced, marinated, and grilled). Or for something divine we may try Cocobichuela, (lobster and shrimp in curry sauce served in a coconut shell and topped with fruit). Our mouths are already waltering for an all-out culinary honeymoon adventure!

Upon arrival we are greeted with the customary shell lei and participate in the Polynesian arts and crafts demonstrations,we watch the Royal Court procession arrive in a traditional outrigger canoe this Luau is truly a Hawaiian experience . We feast on a menu of Loma salmon Kona, -style poke, lau lau, Kalua Pua'a, tropical fruit punch, and Mai Tais. The highlight of the evening under the stars is the Polynesian Revue including the dangerous and fascinating Fire-Knife Dance!

It won't be like driving at home. Exploring on our honeymoon trip will be an adventure.
