This will be wedding night honeymoon suite prior to leaving Sunday for our honeymoon up the gorgeous California Coast to our final destination, Carmel, CA!

We're on our way to our honeymoon mini-road trip - first stop - The Avila La Fonda Inn (each room is decorated in a colorful Spanish style decor and boasts ocean views) in Avila Beach, just north of Pismo. This is a cozy little town and a great first stop on our way to Big Sur/Carmel.

Don't you just love the name? Nestled along the gorgeous coast past Big Sur and just prior to the lovely Carmel, CA is the Tickle Pink Inn. We'll live in the "lap of luxury" for two nights in this gorgeous location. Our room has a view of the ocean with a balcony, fire place and whirpool tub!

What could be better than knowing we'll have breakfast to enjoy between the sheets? We'll order eggs florentine, cinnamon rolls, freshly squeezed orange juice and hot coffee which all seem to taste better served to us in bed!

Wonder who will feed who grapes in bed? We'll order a nice basket of fruit that should keep our energy high.

We love to spice things up! We'll pick the most fabulous Mexican food restaurant in town, reserve our table and savor South of the Border tacos, tamales and other authentic Mexican favorites all topped off with some fresh salsa. Ole!

We look forward to reserving an intimate candlelit dinner. We'll choose a quiet restaurant with a warm atmosphere, outstanding cuisine and impeccable service.

We would love to shop around for our favorite piece of art as a cherished keepsake from our once in a lifetime trip. This gift will adorn our home for many years to come!
