FAQs
Is there a dress code?
The ceremony and reception will be outside. Please keep the hot weather in mind when planning your attire. Formal / cocktail attire with breathable fabrics is recommended.
On the day of the wedding, how will I get to the island?
Las Islas will provide transportation by boat from Hotel Las Islas to Isleta, and back.
How many days do you recommend staying at Hotel Las Islas?
The wedding events will take place on September 16th and 17th of 2023, but guests are welcome to stay longer at their preferred convenience. Nights can be extended at Hotel Las Islas. For a more affordable accommodation, we recommend the Sofitel Baru. Samantha and Andy will be at the Sofitel Baru from 9/12/23 - 9/15/23 and at Hotel Las Islas from 9/15/23 - 9/19/23. Feel free to join!
Since bungalows sleep 2 people, if I am traveling alone can I room with someone?
If you are traveling alone, once RSVP's are collected we will buddy you with someone else who is traveling alone to share a bungalow if you prefer. When RSVPing you can comment who you would like to room with.
Are children allowed?
Children are welcome! It is important to note that there are limited family bungalows at Hotel Las Islas.
At Hotel Las Islas it is two adults per bungalow with minimal family bungalow options. However, toddlers ages 0-2 years old may stay at Las Islas in the same 2-person bungalow as their parents and will be accommodated with cribs at no additional cost upon request.
What types of rooms can I stay in at Hotel Las Islas / when should I book them?
There are two options you can choose from Beach Bungalows and Treehouses. Each Beach Bungalow has its own saltwater infinity pool over the Caribbean Sea, and each Treehouse has its own jacuzzi.
At this moment, we do not want people to book rooms as they will be booked through the wedding party post-RSVPs. We will be reaching out to you individually to confirm how many nights you would like to stay!
What is there to do at the Hotel Las Islas if we plan to arrive early?
