Schedule of Events

Due to Security, ALL guests must board the boat at the same time. Everyone must be there at 9:30, where we will meet with the Carnival Wedding Team. They will give everyone instructions on getting on and off the ship. Here is a rough timeline of how the day should go!

Arrive at Cruise Terminal

Everyone is Required to be at the cruise terminal by 9:30 so we can go through security and board the boat together. When you arrive at the cruise terminal, non sailing guests will not park at the terminal. The designated parking for this event is across the street under the I-10 Bridge. You should be able to drop off at the terminal before going and parking.

Boarding the Ship

The boat will have to clear customs before they let any of us on. They said that should be done by around 10am. Once the wedding team has the all clear, we will then have to go through security. This is the same level of security for sailing and nonsailing guests, and is similar to going through TSA at an airport. YOU WILL HAVE TO HAVE YOUR DRIVERS LICENSE FOR SECURITY. Once you have cleared security, they will hold your driver's license for entirety of the wedding and will give it back to you get off the boat.

Waiting Game

Everyone should be on the boat by about 11:30 and will be able to roam the ship until the wedding. The bride and groom will be finishing getting ready and taking pictures before hand. During this time you are free to go anywhere on the ship and can go to any of the bars until the wedding. The Carnival Wedding team requests that guests be in the Lounge about 15 minutes before the ceremony.

Wedding Ceremony

The Wedding Ceremony is at 1pm in the Versailles Lounge (Riviera Deck 1 - Forward)

Wedding Reception

The Reception will be in the same room following the ceremony! It will include a champagne toast, cake, an open bar and food!

Disembarking

After the Reception, all non sailing guests will get off the ship, get their IDs, and wave goodbye to the newly weds as they set sail!
