Come Celebrate Our Wedding
Natasha Nefedyeva and Ethan Weiss
Dating app's have a bad reputation. Most people associate them with the various horror stories they have heard about on the internet. And while, at first glance, JSwipe may appear to be nothing more than a Tinder someone looked at and said "let's make it more Jewy", in some cases it works magic.
Natasha logged onto JSwipe, saw Ethan, probably intended to swipe left but got distracted by a bee that had flown into her apartment which caused her to accidentally swipe right. Or, perhaps because she assumed it was JSwipe, she figured it must work in the opposite direction as regular Tinder for gentiles and swiped right thinking it was the equivalent of swiping left. Ethan logged onto JSwipe, saw Natasha, and thought "oh I am definitely swiping right here!"
Being the late spring of 2020, a year when there were so many concerts going on, it's surprising they were able to find the free time, Natasha and Ethan had a virtual date. Then the next day they virtually met up again.... and then again.... and again... Ethan soon found himself thinking during other facetime meetups "when can this end so I can talk to Natasha again" (and just in case you have forgotten, facetime meetups were really in vogue in 2020, so there were a lot of them to get through).
Soon they went on a walk in the Berkeley Marina, and eventually to Pasta Moon in Half Moon Bay. Before long Helga entered the picture, and Natasha has loved how she smells ever since. Natasha eventually met Ziggy, and despite Ziggy only being two at the time, Ziggy immediately said hello to her. Soon Ziggy would come to love Natasha just as much as Ethan. He would ask about her when she was not around, ask her to say goodnight to him, ask her to get him up in the morning (or as he puts it, he would request a "Natasha Good Morning"), and be very concerned about whether she was wearing pants or shorts.
Ethan and Natasha got engaged at Pasta Moon. Sadly, no one at Pasta Moon seemed to notice, nor was there any offer of a free dessert, nor any acknowledgment at all that Ethan wrote "I plan to propose to my girlfriend" in the "is this a special occasion?" section of the online reservation. For some reason, and despite all of the shoes that Helga destroyed, Natasha said yes. Ziggy, Natasha, and Ethan are now becoming one family, and Helga will be allowed to live in the home.
