With only 18 days to go, I wanted to put out some last-minute updates/reminders!
To arrange a complimentary shuttle to/from The Grove:
Please call The Grove after you land, while at baggage claim. They have shuttles that go by every 15 – 20 minutes or so (it makes a loop to all 3 of their hotels).
When arranging a shuttle back to the airport, please call/visit the front desk the day before your departure. They do this to ensure they have enough seats on the shuttle to accommodate everyone.
Weather:
Idaho weather changes by the minute, but as of this moment, we’re expecting the following conditions for the days most people will be here:
Thursday the 27th – 34˚/25˚ - cloudy and cold with a little snow mixing with sleet and freezing rain
Friday the 28th – 36˚/31˚ - cloudy; a bit of snow, sleet, and freezing rain in the morning followed by a rain or snow shower in spots in the afternoon
Saturday the 29th – 40˚/30˚ - cloudy
Sunday the 30th – 39˚/28˚ - cloudy
Monday the 31st – 39˚/27˚ - intervals of clouds and sunshine
Timeline:
Our ceremony will be starting promptly at 5:00, so please find your seats on the terrace between 4:30 and 4:45. We will have blankets, coffee, and fire pits available for you to keep warm if you’re chilly.
Once the ceremony is over, please make your way to the elevators and down to the 2nd floor ballroom for cocktails.
Bar:
Reminder that it is a cash bar. They will have a bunch of local beer, all levels of liquor, and wines available for purchase. If anyone wants to buy the bride and groom drinks and is curious about what we like: Ron likes IPAs, stouts, porters, and whiskey; while Amy likes IPAs, stouts, porters, and gin & tonics. 😊
